Leipsic Oyster Festival

The town of Leipsic, Delaware - population 196 - hosted its first-ever oyster festival in the fall of 2017. Members of the Leipsic community worked hand-in-hand with Delaware Sea Grant's Sustainable Coastal Communities specialist, Ed Lewandownski, to plan the event and bring thousands of people together to celebrate Leipsic's coastal heritage.
